"People who make other people, themselves and their partners feel guilty about living, about indulging in simple pleasures, are deeply unerotic, even unlovable."
Taken from an article about Gwyneth Paltrow's figure.
I'm don't know about girls out there but I'm pretty sure nowadays everybody enjoys good food, be it desserts or maincourses. I personally love food to an extent where my stomach doesn't know when to stop. I'm not sure if there is a misconception the public has on really thin skinny people on them hating food, I think they just do not like the fact that they will end up getting fat/looking fat hence the fruit diet/veg diet/water diet.
I do however agree that if your partners, friends or family give you enough compliments instead of criticising every little bits of fats on your body there will be less people in this world feeling so bad about themself. Its true that one who has confidence in themself will come across more sexy and beautiful than one whose not. Well confidence don't just built up by one telling themself their pretty right? Theres another term for one who does anyway.
When was the last time you actually gave a compliment about someone? No not compliments like 'I like your bag', 'Lovely dress!', 'Amazing shoes!' not what their wearing but how they actually look when they are wearing them. I mean yes we love the attention of those things we put together, the only reason we did is to make ourselves look good the first place so why aren't we getting the compliments instead?
I just thought that the public has put too much pressure into women only being perfect if they're from the Victoria's Secret runway, they forgot about the ones who aren't blessed with long legs, big boob, ultra fast metabolism etc. Don't 4'9s or 5'' and below want to look good in couture dresses too? Or are there not designers out there who design for vertically challenge people? Or they're just not meant to wear it at all...
